In a happening from May 1971, held at the Sigi Krauss Gallery in London and entitled The Cake-Man, Paul Neagu reconstructed a human silhouette out of waffles and invited the audience to take part in a collective ritual of consuming "the cake man". Each participant was offered a "cell" from the soon-to-be deconstructed, ravaged and "devoured" body.
In Timișoara, Paul Neagu's place of origin, a small group of architects and performers reconstructed the waffle man, as well as the experience of eating it together.
